The Times They Are a Changin’
“You can change many things, or you can change.”
Currently we are experiencing a sort of void, a stillpoint between the old and the new. As I am in this space as well, I am offering a rundown on the celestial events for the coming month. Yesterday, in my location on Earth, the winds were incredibly strong and blew all day and night. It definitely felt like the winds of change were cutting through the old to bring in the new.
We are approaching another portal into a grander scheme of things to come…which makes it imperative to grow and expand even more. During the next month we will experience three major eclipses, a solstice, and planets changing signs. These celestial events offer another replay similar to, yet even more potent than last year’s cardinal cross eclipse.
June 1 kicks off with a solar eclipse in Gemini. This eclipse initiates and accelerates the potentials for change. Gemini rules the mind and communications. The eclipse offers us the ability to change our reality through changing our perspective on events and circumstances. We will be accessing new reference points as we grow in consciousness which will allow us to realize there are many points of view. Through hearing and understanding each other and a variety of perspectives, we can all work together collaboratively and in unity, thereby expanding our view of truth and reality. Gemini also rules the sign of twins and duality. If you are awaiting your twin flame, this eclipse will initiate the changes to usher in a collaborative relationship together. Relationships of a collaborative nature of any sort will be instigated here. Additionally, for the masses, it will be the entry into a field of unity and out of duality as the energies transport humanity to higher dimensions beyond the third.
Jupiter changes signs on June 4th, entering the sign of Taurus for a year long stay. Taurus is an earth sign, encouraging us to find peace, beauty and security through our connection to earth. With food and energy prices soaring, we are being empowered to take more responsibility for our health and well being through a co-creative relationship with Earth. Growing some of our own food, even in small containers, is a wise choice in these changing times. If we compare the ability of food to nourish our cells, the best choice would be that grown by self, as it provides a container for our own energy. Another option is foraging wild foods when in season. There are many videos available @ www. Youtube.com which offer much information on utilizing wild foods as well as providing information on raw and plant food diets. As we reach higher frequencies, it becomes necessary to shift our diets to align our physical being with our spiritual one.
Time is appearing to speed up because we are evolving and growing at such incredible rates. According to Carl Johan Calleman, author of The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness, the evolution of consciousness speeds up by a factor of 20 from the previous underworld in the Mayan Calendar. This ninth wave, which began on March 9, 2011 and will continue through October 28, 2011 initiates as much change as we experienced in the past 12 years, from 1999-2011. In other words, in 8 months we will experience an amount of change equal to what we experienced in the last 12 years!
These eclipses will be paramount in catalyzing this change. The June 15 eclipse takes place in Sagittarius. This sign encourages us to reach the grandest heights possible, with no holds barred. Sagittarius encourages us to expand our faith and see the bigger picture. This eclipse aligns with the galactic center, again encouraging collaboration and cooperation not only with Earth and its peoples, but also of the entire galaxy. The quest for truth is supreme in these times; expanding our horizon is essential. Truth will reign, and anything less than integrous will be exposed. All means of domination and control will be exposed (both within and without) and we will begin to understand that unless we follow our higher self and its lead, life will become difficult to say the least. This eclipse is an extremely powerful full moon, which will catalyze release of anything lower which still holds us in the place of duality. Pay attention during this powerful time.
The summer solstice (winter in the southern hemisphere) offers a time of balance and integration. It is a powerful time for reaping the rewards of the last season. In the north, things blossom and bloom; in the south, it becomes a time of retreat and renewal; a time to withdraw and go within. Take the time during this equinox to set your intentions for the rest of this powerful year.
The July 1 eclipse offers a cardinal cross again; this time involving Sun, Moon, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto. We have reached a major crossroads, where the old must be broken down and the new must rise from the ashes. Uranus, the collective awakener, the innovator, the leader of rebellion and reform, opposes Saturn, representing the old structures, and squares Pluto which demands deep transformative change to the core. There will be no minor fixes this time. These times demand change- transformative and mandatory change. More about this next month as we enter this powerful and potent time of initiatory change. Marcus Aurelius once said: "Observe always that everything is the result of change, and get used to thinking that there is nothing Nature loves so well as to change existing forms and make new ones like them."
