Reformation and Transformation-Into LOVE
We have passed through the eye of the needle of this most recent eclipse, and are heading directly into the second. While the first one appeared on Nov. 24, the second eclipse comes quickly on its heel. On December 10th, the lunar eclipse manifests in the sign of Gemini, the twins. Gemini rules the opposing forces of the heavenly and earthly nature which we all possess. Until these two natures are joined as one, separation still exists within.
The upcoming eclipse, also a full moon, highlights any remaining separation, offering the potential in these compelling times, for all humans on earth to unite their opposing natures. In other words….. unity consciousness and oneness, here we come!
Eclipses open the portals to new and higher consciousness, and allow a re--booting to take place. This major shift which began on 11/11/11 has been opening our hearts beyond anything ever anticipated or expected. We are learning about a love so pure and of such high level vibration, it is shattering anything within its wake which is not love. Our remaining density is being transmuted to the core. There is no making sense of it all yet and we most likely will not be able to do so until the new year has come. With mercury continuing in the retrograde period until December 13, and its shadow until the 31st of the month, we can continue to expect deep integration at all levels, from the incredible change which has been introduced through these celestial events.
The time from Dec. 10 through the new moon in Capricorn on Dec. 24 will offer powerful potentials for change, growth and expansion. For me personally, these last 3 months have been all about expansion and growth. I am being challenged every day in many ways to go beyond the frozen thought forms which currently exist on earth and which have inhabited my consciousness. When we look at thoughts as energy, we can see that many beliefs and ways of doing things come from these frozen thought forms which exist on earth, and depending on our vibration, are the thoughts we attract and attune to. We think of ourselves as the originator of our thoughts, but this is not necessarily true. Rather, it is apparent energetically that we vibrate and attach to the frozen energy of old thought forms. Our greatest challenge comes in recent days to confront, question, and dispute some of these outmoded and archaic ways of thinking, doing, and being. It is time to question all of the foundations of our cultural beliefs and thought patterns and begin to eliminate the “dead wood”, those which are hindering our progress in creating our new world on earth.
As I have reflected on many of the thought patterns and beliefs of the old world that are confronting me, it is apparent that most of these thoughts were created from a place of fear, limitation, and control, and ultimately have nothing to do with love. In the times ahead, love is the only measure upon which to base our choices and decisions. Additionally, each of us have unparalleled opportunity to add to the new thought forms which are now able to flow more fluidly within and on earth. The heavens have opened and beings of high consciousness have allowed these frozen thought forms to thaw and dissipate, to be replaced by more fluid and higher energy thought forms.
12:12 will follow directly this eclipse portal and usher in more and grander changes as well. Uranus will turn direct, setting into motion some grand transformational surprises and shocks for us individually and to the collective as well. The winter solstice will take place on the 22nd of the month and bring some semblance of equilibrium to balance the major changes of late.
The new moon on December 24 encourages us to examine traditional ways of being, doing and thinking. The new moon is in Capricorn, which rules the traditions and foundations in life; families, education, religion, culture, media which condition us to live and act in restricted and limited ways. The time is now to break free of these limits and create a world which honors individual choice and exceptionality. As we break free from outer pressures and connect with our inner truth- no holds barred- nothing can keep us from shining our magnificence and light. There are no limits to the number of people we can love or the ways in which we can express that love. As we love ourselves by disconnecting from and releasing the old ways of being, the greater our ability to become a contributor of love in physical form.
All of the outer planets are involved in the energetic message of these times to take a giant leap forward on our path, releasing all limitation. It is time to radically transform whatever remains unsustainable and not in the best interests of all. The Sabian symbol for this new moon stresses the need for the new to be born within and without: “A human soul, in its eagerness for new experiences, seeks embodiment, a powerful yearning for whatever will increase the scope and depth of one’s contacts with other living beings.”
“Scope and depth of connection with other human beings” seem to be at the core of my (and I assume yours as well) new and higher consciousness. We are embodying our divinity. In every day and every way, we each have unlimited opportunities to share love in deeper and grander ways. Though my voice has not yet found the words to speak, my heart has found the new vibration from which to express this love in majestic ways. Hopefully, as the new year dawns, I will have the words with which to express the immensity of the expansion and consciousness which have now inhabited my and our new world.
For this final musing of December 2011, I allow the beauty of the words from Kahlil Gibran, from The Prophet, to speak on Love:
When love beckons to you, follow him,
Though his ways are hard and steep.
And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
And when he speaks to you believe in him.
Though his voice may shatter your dreams as the north wind lays waste the garden.
For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning.

For love is sufficient unto love.
When you love you should not say, “God is in my heart,” but rather, “I am in the heart of God.”
And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.
Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself
But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness,
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willfully and joyfully.
To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love’s ecstasy;
To return home at eventide with gratitude; And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips.
May the termination of this year of great change allow you to reflect upon the beauty and grace which has touched you in 2011. Wishing you the abundance of love, joy and blessings in the new year and in our new world.
