Into the New
Here we go! I am observing major shifts in everyone around me, as we indeed approach the big wave we have awaited for so long. I feel that I am in the midst of this shift myself, and everyone will have their chance to experience it as they are ready.
With the new moon in Leo, heart openings abound. It is all about loving ourselves and our neighbors, for they are us, and we are them. Many revelations regarding oneness keep surfacing in the recesses of Mind. These range from insignificant to profound, but all revolve around the theme of oneness and unity. I observe as others explore the connections of paradox, and what exists beyond.
Being in the midst of shift, I feel at a loss for words. I will write more later in the month, if and when I feel I have a brain or something significant to say. For now, I wish you all the best in your own entry into the new.

Well, my brain may be working a bit, or at least part time again. I love it when my brain can go on vacation. I have had some wonderful play time in the last weeks as I have downloaded and integrated yet higher and finer energies, as have we all. Truly this is what life is about…play. Especially as we shift and grow, we need to keep it fun and not get too serious about it all. This is the key to nirvana, remembering that life is only play, and even these “stoppers” that come along are only an illusion, an agreement between souls to teach each other.
The energies are picking up speed, and our time is coming; not a time when we quit growing, for we never will, as long as we are here on earth. It is however, a time of reaping. It is time to receive the rewards for all of the long, hard, laborious work we have done within ourselves, with those we love, and in our surrounding environments.
One of the key lessons which appear at this time to be universal, is about solidifying our boundaries, making sure they are strong and intact. Many of us are feeling the effects of dependencies. For many years I have been talking about how co-dependency is not allowed in these higher energies. It all goes back to the Chinese wisdom of, “If you give a man a fish, he will eat for one day. If you teach a man to fish, you will feed him for a lifetime.” We all need to be connected to our own Source, not someone else’s.
Instinctively, we become angry or irritated if people are over- stepping our boundaries, or expecting us to do the work for them. We have done our work, and it has been a long and challenging journey. Because there are so many of us now holding the space for those who follow, already those who follow will have an easier time. They MUST do the work themselves; there is no short cut.
Those of us who are at the forefront and leading the way are very compassionate, loving, and giving, and we are finding that some we try to assist are not as loving and giving, not as compassionate; nor are they grateful. These people are some of our greatest teachers, so let us remember to be grateful for the lessons they are helping us to learn.
We are moving into equality in relationships, an energetic resonance. As we shift higher, we are learning what we need to know for our own survival. When we arrive in our new place of residency, we must keep our space sacred. We can only spend limited increments of time in a lower vibration. There will be many who will be glad to hang onto our coattails and keep us at their level of vibrational reality, but if we do, we will lose our balance, oneness and bliss. So we must have our boundaries solidly in place to be prepared for our larger and expanded service to others. It will not serve us, or others, to fall from a higher vibration, to meet them at their level, as we serve.
David Hawkins has a wonderful metaphor for this situation. “Just like a cork in the sea, each spirit rises or falls in the sea of consciousness to its own level by virtue of its own choices and not by any external force or favor….” He also says, “We change the world not by what we say or do but as a consequence of what we have become. Thus, every spiritual aspirant serves the world."
Our vibrational frequency is our place holder; it is doing the work for us. Our ego likes to think it is the things we do and the words we speak, which make a difference, but truly, it is the energy we ARE BEING that is shifting those who follow.
This is a time of intensity. As each new moon approaches as of late, I find myself letting go, surrendering, releasing even more. This is what used to happen for me at the full moon. The full moon then, brings the completion of this new and integrated shift. The new moon in Leo (July 30) definitely assisted each of us to get ready for our new residence. The energies sliced through old feelings and blockages, old patterns which still needed releasing in order to allow us to love ourselves and our path as much, and as equally, as we love others.
From the 9th of the month through the 25th, a grand cardinal cross is demanding action and growth. With Pluto and Mars very prominent and in opposition, and both planets square Saturn and Uranus, they also are activating the degree of the last solar eclipse of July 1. This doorway in time promises to be important and growth producing. We are being encouraged to reflect upon and realize all we have learned since the eclipse. As time is speeding quickly by, mercury retrograde during this period is a plus. It allows for reflection, reassessment, and review. As mercury retrogrades from early Virgo back into Leo, it is asking us to again reflect on how our service and the practices we utilize, must be in alignment with our own hearts and those whom we serve. We need to know how to honor ourselves as much as we honor others, and it is only in that honor, that we truly serve. For anything that is not serving us, is certainly not serving another either.
As we learn these lessons, we will shift to our new vibrational residence and level of consciousness. Beginning with this doorway and continuing through the important 11/11/11 gateway, the doors are open for each of us to enter, upon passing the spiritual pre-requisites.
The full moon in Aquarius is highlighting both the plight and the blessings of the common man. Gays/lesbians are beginning to see some small victories toward acceptance and treatment as human beings with needs and wants like others. I am sure we will see additional rights being granted in the coming years. The continuing unrest is growing and now we are seeing riots in London; again a result of inequality and anger at lack of justice and fairness by the poorest of the poor. Falling economic markets are highlighting the fact that these old structures and foundations are no longer serving us. It is time for us to realize our oneness with the universe, to use our greatest power to co- create the world we wish to see; a world where suffering no longer exists-for anyone. We, the people, truly do have the power, as we embrace and embody our divinity, to create a world of joy and ease.
We are individuals and we are connected. Our synergy is greater than the sum of our individuality. We all have a special role and gifts to offer. Allow this knowledge to shine within as you release fears that the universe will not support you in your journey. We are gods and goddesses, incarnate during a very special time on earth, and each and every one of our talents are necessary and needed. It is time to step into our power and shine!
Let us create a world together in which all of our needs are met with ease, and play is considered as important than work. As Buddha once said: “The master of the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which; he simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him, he is always doing both.”
I love the following paragraph written by Howard Zinn, and feel it applies during these times of incredible change. Through his words, we can see that the combined efforts of all people across the globe are indeed multiplying exponentially to create this extraordinary, world altering, and lasting change. “We don't have to engage in grand, heroic actions to participate in the process of change. Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world. Even when we don't "win," there is fun and fulfillment in the fact that we have been involved, with other good people, in something worthwhile. We need hope. An optimist isn't necessarily a blithe, slightly sappy whistler in the dark of our time. To be hopeful in bad times is not just foolishly romantic. It is based on the fact that human history is a history not only of cruelty, but also of compassion, sacrifice, courage, kindness. What we choose to emphasize in this complex history will determine our lives. If we see only the worst, it destroys our capacity to do something. If we remember those times and places-and there are so many-where people have behaved magnificently, this gives us the energy to act, and at least the possibility of sending this spinning top of a world in a different direction. And if we do act, in however small a way, we don't have to wait for some grand utopian future. The future is an infinite succession of presents, and to live now as we think human beings should live, in defiance of all that is bad around us, is itself a marvelous victory.”~Howard Zinn
