Rolling, Rolling, Rolling Down the River
August 2010
As we roll into August, our new lives are beginning to show themselves in subtle and not so subtle ways, and future directions are being revealed. Many are sharing with me the ways their new soul purposes are being revealed. It is exciting! This month begins a series of three Super moons in a row, culminating with the October new moon. So, with each new moon, a new portion of our life is going to brought into Being, with the final moon in October allowing us to have a new platform from which to live from and solidify these new foundations as the year comes to a close. A new group of world servers is stepping up to the plate.
August promises to move us even more into our joy as the Sun enters Leo, the sign which rules the heart. As we enter more fully into living from the heart, our soul can lead the way to a life of ease, peace, and joy. Everything we do becomes play; whether it is work or play, all becomes part of the flow of our true abundance. As we step into our heart and allow it to lead the way, we become our true and authentic selves. That which no longer resonates falls away. Much of this is happening as well, as relationships which no longer resonate leave, as well as jobs, homes and other belongings. We are all aligning with our new lives, our new people, our new work, and our new homes. Everything must come into a harmonious vibration and if it does not or cannot, it must leave.
As I am still actively involved in the reconstruction of my home, I am discarding things I have kept for years, and wonder why I have allowed them to stay this long, as they have not resonated for some time. The colors, smells, sounds, foods, and people we surround ourselves with all become important to our inner harmony or discord. It is time to step into our big shoes and create the life we desire. Once we do, the world will follow as well. The law of attraction is applying swiftly, and many people who have not been able to see the connection between their thought and reality will now begin to correlate the two.
Astrologically, we have entered the time of new beginnings. We have had Saturn and Uranus opposing each other in the signs of completion for a few years. For the final pass, these planets are now moving into the cardinal signs, which rule new beginnings and new phases of growth. So, even as things are still in flux, and the old is still leaving, the new is coming into form as well. This is a very stable and balanced approach to change, to allow the old to support and form the foundation until the new is ready to come in and replace it. In the U.S., President Obama is performing this role as place holder for change, for our country and the world. He holds the old foundations in place until the new can replace them completely.
As Pluto has been squaring Jupiter and Saturn since early June, we now have Uranus added to the mix. The nearer planets of Venus and Mars are also involved in this configuration, giving added impetus which demands courage, commitment, creativity and collaboration to and on our new paths. Rather than a grand cross, we now have a T square forming in the sky, with one area of the cross absent.
The absent area is the area which needs to come into being to support the change demanded through the other planets squaring each other. This absent area is ruled by Cancer. It implies that the nurturing qualities of the divine Feminine and mother earth are needed to create the changes we so desperately need and want. We are healing the patriarchal belief systems, and returning to the true process of creation, which is inspired through feeling and sensing, by means of the intuitive feminine principle which takes into consideration the needs of all, not just a few. Only when the needs of all are considered and all on the planet are treated equally, will the new reality come into being.
This T square aspect will be in effect through the month, keeping the pressure on for each of us to make adjustments and changes, even as time appears to move more swiftly each day. If you are like me, each day you wonder where the time went. Remember, we are trying to squeeze into a day, what used to be a 24 hours into 16 hours of relative time.
So, for each of us, this means that there is a divine feminine, an intuition and a nurturance that needs to lead us as we make the necessary changes on our path. When the intuitive speaks, we need to listen. As I write this, I am realizing that I too, need to nurture myself more right now, as the massive changes take place in my being and my life. Without stopping to smell the roses, there is no joy along the journey. So, even in the midst of great change within my home, today I will spontaneously head to the lake for a few days of rest and relaxation.
The month comes to an end with a Pisces full moon. Pisces is the last of the signs and will bring the completions that will wrap up the process of completing our old lives. A full moon is in effect for a month, longer if it hits one of your natal planets (like up to a year in this case.) The September full moon will be in Aries, which will bring a completion to the beginning stages of our new journey and path. So as this month comes to a close, know that some very important endings to your personal, and our collective world will be wrapping up. Mercury will turn retrograde on August 20th, bringing in another opportunity to review and re-do where we have come from and where we are going to. It is an important time of inner reflection. Use it well. This will all lead us into September and the fall equinox (spring for the southern hemisphere), which will bring our harvests of abundance for the new lives we are entering. And remember, "Life in abundance comes only through great love." (Elbert Hubbard) Love as though you will never be hurt again. Love All That Is.
I have glimpsed the coming new lives of myself and those closest to me. The changes for all will be profound and beyond anything expected. The pure, unadulterated abundance that is approaching for each of us is phenomenal in proportion to anything we have seen before. And for those who have held the space for these massive changes for humanity, the rewards will be beyond our greatest expectations. In this final month of completion, remember this: It is grand!
