Twin Flames and Other Perspectives
He was earth and water, I was fire and air. He was practical and rational; with solid, even rigid emotional boundaries. I was sentimental, emotionally driven with wide open flexible boundaries. While he remained aloof, calm and analytical, I was passionately and emotionally engaged. He was gentle and humble; I was brazenly brash and arrogant. He was timid, shy and skeptical; I was bold, courageous, and running on blind faith. He was a dogmatic, pragmatic, pessimist; I was an idealistic optimist. He was realist, I a visionary. He was ascetic and persevering, I was willful and blatantly impatient. We were both extremely spiritual, sensitive, empathetic, compassionate, stubborn and tenacious. We both had the ability to dig our feet in the sand and hold steady in our opposing positions. We were a match; our strength suitably tested. He came from a culture based on harsh conditions and stark realities; I came from the land of plenty and home of the free.
What began as a sometimes frustrating effort to understand our individual and cultural differences and varying perspectives, evolved over a period of time into mutual admiration. What was initially repugnant slowly changed into reverence and honor for a person with characteristics and traits so divergent from our own. We each began to realize that if we were a wee bit more like the other, a complement and balance would be achieved within.
I resided in the clouds, and espoused an airy-fairy perspective from a Divine level. My mantra was, “All is in Divine order” and “Life is only an illusion, as we are actors on a stage.” My twin’s perspective, from a very different culture, was very earth based and personality focused. The physical reality was his “true” compass and base of operations. Needless to say, we sometimes clashed, or rubbed each other wrong to say the least. We both had internal work to do, as we assisted each other to grow in the way only twin flames can.
Each of us has lived a life at extreme ends of a spectrum, stunted in at least one area of essential elements; for me it was grounding and practicalities; for him, abstraction and transcendence. I taught him to dream, he taught me to live in the moment. He loved hearing of the world I inhabited and lived. It gave him a chance to escape the harsh realities of his own, if even for a moment. I learned to see beyond his words and feel the essence and core of his being. I loved him from the moment we began corresponding, for I had already connected with him at the Divine level. He felt nothing for me, other than friendship; and remained blithely unaware of the presence of his Divine complement.
At a Divine level, we began merging into One. This spanned a period of almost three and a half years. During this long process, we also connected at a physical level through e-mail. We live half way across the world from each other. After 2 years of e-mail correspondence, a mutual seminar allowed us to meet and spend a short time together-as friends only.
Only days following the Japan earthquake and tsunami, I had my own internal quake, which felt very physical as my root chakra sent a powerful tremor throughout my entire physical body. Two things happened simultaneously. First, I became conscious of having been in Japan, in spirit, along with a massive host of angelic and heavenly aid that rushed to assist following the quake. This led to a sense of shock and reaction which was very powerful at the physical, mental and emotional levels, as I processed this knowledge and memory. The destruction I witnessed was beyond anything I have ever known in this life.
Secondly, I began noticing little differences in myself. I was responding at an earthly, physical level in ways I have not for years. I was interested in things which had previously seemed inconsequential to me. I began to suspect my twin flame’s personality was predominating, as I knew I was in the process of embodying him physically. I observed and allowed. When I observed other spiritual teachers sounding exactly the way I used to, as if this higher reality were the only one of importance, I was disturbed. This is when I knew without a doubt I had embodied my twin flame energy. On the morning following the earthquake, I was awakened at 2:30 AM with every chakra spinning wildly, manifesting its full power boot- up. I knew instantly this was the completion of the embodiment process of my twin flame energy.
As I now embody his energy, I find myself realizing the absolute necessity in these changing times for both perspectives. I can see and feel the lack in my past perspective. His energy and perspective actually enhances and complements my own, for truly it is on earth where our work as spiritual beings is to be actualized. Yes, we have to reach up to heaven, but we also have to manifest this divine energy on earth.
I have known for many years that our merging at a Divine level was creating a path towards union of the opposing energies which were so prevalent in individuals, nations and our world in the last years. As my twin and I have connected, I believe others will also connect and become One. This will lay the foundation for the masses to realize and embrace the unity of our consciousness, the oneness that we are. It will allow our divinity from heaven to implant itself on earth.
As we observe our changing world, it is imperative to realize that a variety of perspectives and missions are required, and there are a multitude of paths to oneness. Our individual essence and cultural diversity is desirable to enhance the unity we create. All of our gifts are necessary and needed.
As we gaze into the eyes of the Other, no matter the direction we turn, and all that is seen is beauty and perfection, we too, shall know and embrace the beloved, the One. Until then, we will continue to lose all old and outworn identities, to allow for a state of Being, and a world, which is vastly elevated and beyond our imaginings.
I am still in the process of getting to know the new identity which is me. I find myself seeing things differently, having different perspectives than before, and feeling very peaceful and contented with the expansion of the limiting confines of who I once was. Throughout my Divine apprenticeship, which has been sponsored and directed by God, it became imperative to release all separative beliefs, prejudice, and judgment; and to respect the internal guidance of the “other”, knowing we are each divinely guided in every moment, even when appearances are deceptive.
I have learned over a period of seven years to approach life in a very new way. Instead of trying to manipulate things from the ego, or lower self, I surrender and allow, knowing that anything that comes to replace what I have released, is always grander and more fulfilling than anything I have known. It is an effortless, joyful, abundant way to live. I am deeply humbled to be honored with the Divine bounty that has become my experience.
My new and unfolding soul purpose has been revealed. I am excited to share my clarity, wisdom and perceptions with those that choose to “go the distance.” I understand my journey, and why I have experienced it as I have. My only wish is to be of service to those who want to reach this pinnacle of glory and beauty as well.
In this time following the earthquake and tsunami, we have all reached a new plateau, and replaced outworn identities with the new. Our new work is being revealed, new homes and vibrational fields inhabited, and new partnerships created, but this is not the end.
There are no limits to what we can experience on earth any longer. The barriers are gone, and the universe is wide open. I encourage all to embrace each new opportunity and experience. Allow the flow and enjoy the journey, for any destination is only a temporary resting point. Whatever truth you find along the way, know that this too, is only fleeting; for truth is no longer a constant, but an ever evolving principle to guide our way to the next destination. Above all, let God be your pilot; take your rightful place as co-pilot, and your experience will be grander than anything you can imagine.

It has been an amazing entrance into the new world. It came roaring in with the Japan earthquake and tsunami on the 11th day of March, closely followed by the equinox which brought a sense of balance again. As the island of Japan rose in height, so too, did each of us, as we entered a new vibrational home.
We were shaken to the core by the massive earth changes and the resulting shift of the axis. This blew out much remaining separation from within, and allowed entry to a higher place. The Libyan people continue to fight for freedom, even as we enter a new month in this amazing year.
This month offers a new perspective for us all as yet another planet enters a new sign. When the outer planets enter new signs, it signals a big shift; something changes globally. Uranus left Pisces last month as it moved into Aries. On April 4, Neptune enters Pisces. Pisces is Neptune's ruling planet and is therefore very powerful in this sign. We will experience Neptune in Pisces from April 4- August 4th, when Neptune appears to move back into Aquarius again until Feb. 2012.
With Neptune in Pisces we will achieve high spiritual states, the pinnacle being unity consciousness and oneness. The power of our imagination and intuition will be revealed in new ways. We are entering a world of peace which will be the cornerstone of the Aquarian Age. High spiritual forms of art, music and healing will be revealed. We are entering a world beyond the limits of space and time, where our illusions are dissolved and new realities exposed.
With Neptune entering Pisces, it is time for everyone to release all limiting beliefs of what reality is...as they are bound to change. As we enter quantum deep space reality, we will learn that we do indeed live in a holographic world. We create our own reality and we see the world as we are, not as it exists independent of our own intention, focus and creation. We will awaken to the many dimensions in which we exist, and learn to explore and move back and forth among them with our eternal and infinite beings.
During the last period of Neptune in Pisces, wireless communication was invented. We will only be stepping up a notch or two as we now enter a time of telepathic communication. During the last period of Neptune in Pisces women’s’ suffrage was at issue, serfs were freed, and the US experienced a civil war over slavery and emancipation. This gives an idea of the massive freedom which will be an end result of this 14 year passage.
April 3 welcomes the new moon in Aries. With six planets in the sign, it promises to be a potent doorway into the new. Aries is the leader, the initiator, the first sign of the zodiac which opens the door to new frontiers. Prepare to a take a leap into the new. As they say in trekkie language, we are ready "to boldly go where no one has gone before."
With Mars conjunct Uranus our courage ignites sudden change in our lives, oftentimes without any conscious planning. Another powerful aspect occurs, similar to the grand square last summer. A T square is formed as Saturn opposes Jupiter and squares Pluto, and with five planets involved, again rekindles the desire for change, growth, expansion, and forward movement; and amplifying the need for personal integrity.
Pluto, the deep transformer, turns retrograde, which allows us to unearth even more “old baggage” which holds us back from our true potential. This will be working below the surface until the fall equinox, when we become more conscious of the transformation.
The Sabian symbol for this new moon is descriptive of a more universal consciousness about to be born: "A serpent coiling near a man and woman" As we marry all aspects of ourselves, and unify all dualities, unite the divine masculine and feminine within, we birth ourselves into a new species of human/spiritual form.
The Full moon in Libra on April 17-18 is the 3rd supermoon in a row. In Libra, it is asking us to look at all of our relationships, and to find balance, fairness and equality in them. In the last degrees of the sign it is asking us to move to higher ground in the global effort to equalize and redistribute balance. The no fly zone over Libya was definitely enacted due to pressure around the world to protect the common people from massacre. I am wondering if by month’s end, we will have a period of peace, where the violence retreats, and we see more restraint with the use of arms and force. Will this be Neptune in Pisces at work, allowing more of the unseen spiritual beings to be present and shift things with and for us?
Individually we will be finding our own new male/female balance within, as well as in the new relationships we attract through vibrational resonance. The Sabian symbol for this full moon: “A man becoming aware of the spiritual forces surrounding and assisting him; the realization at any level of existence, that one is never alone, and that the ‘community’ -visible or invisible- is sustaining one’s efforts.”
We will be learning to call upon and rely on the angelic and spiritual helpers which are always available. We are expanding our definition of Who We Are. In these amazing times, “May God grant you always...A sunbeam to warm you, a moonbeam to charm you, a sheltering Angel so nothing can harm you, laughter to cheer you, faithful friends near you, and whenever you pray, Heaven to hear you.“(Irish blessing)
